    cut his musical teeth playing in Rock n Roll bands around Donegal before moving to Dublin in 1968 where he immersed himself in the thriving Dublin Folk scene He moved to Drumshanbo in 1973 where he formed Jargon who went on to win the Letterkenny Folk Festival in 1982 gaining a recording contract with Polygram Records He recorded many singles with Jargon e g Bailieboro and me and The Singer When Jargon disbanded he worked with Ennis Singer Maura O Connell who recorded his most famous song Feet of a dancer among others Charlie now pursues a solo career and has recorded many albums in his own right He won the Eurovision Song Contest for Ireland in 1994 with Paul Harrington singing Brendan Graham s song Rock n Roll Kids Charlie s songs have been recorded by many artists including Eleanor Shanley Mary and Frances Black Hal Ketchum and many more He has lived in Drumshanbo for thirty six years where he is a member of the Drumshanbo Adult Choir He has been a member of the Drumshanbo Drama and Musical Societies and has performed in many of their productions He is a member of the board of Irish Music Rights Organisation IMRO Maureen Kennelly Maureen has worked with a wide number of arts organisations in recent year and is currently director of Poetry Ireland She was Primary Curator with the Mountains to Sea DLR Book Festival for 2012 and 2013 Programme Director of the Cúirt International Festival of Literature Galway for 2009 and 2010 and curator of the All Ireland Performing Arts Conferences held in Belfast She was previously director of Kilkenny Arts Festival artistic director of the Mermaid Arts Centre Bray and she has also worked with Fishamble New Writing Theatre Company Druid Theatre Company The Arts Council An Chomhairle Ealaíon and the Irish Youth Choir In March 2011 she was creative producer of DublinSwell staged at the Convention Centre Dublin as the first major celebration of the UNESCO City of Literature designation She is a member of the boards of Kilkenny Arts Festival the Tyrone Guthrie Centre Barabbas Theatre Company and The Dock Arts Centre Carrick on Shannon She was appointed to the Expert Advisory Committee of Culture Ireland in 2013 Philip Delamere Philip Delamere studied sculpture at Limerick School of Art from 1989 to 1994 and worked as a visual artist theatre designer street theatre director and arts organiser until 2000 He became County Arts Officer with Roscommon County Council in 2000 and has been Arts Officer with Leitrim County Council since 2011 As a Local Authority Arts Officer he is responsible for devising and implementing policy plans and programmes for arts development within County Leitrim for Leitrim County Council Philip is also a board member of Create the national development agency for collaborative arts and was appointed to the governing body of I T Sligo in 2014 Rebeccah Farrel l Rebeccah Farrell has a wide ranging interests in and background in arts and entertainment She
