  • Three announce plans to announce iPad plans | Teic.ie
When it does arrive the iPad will be unlocked meaning any network can offer a data package for it but due to Apple s legendary secrecy the various networks have been unable to announce anything specific about the product or the iPhone 4 for that matter It is even unclear whether networks will be able to sell the iPad directly though SiliconRepublic reports Three will be selling the device from August Update Three has clarified that it will not be selling the iPad just offering iPad tariffs when the iPad is eventually released in Ireland The result is a lot of customers asking networks for details and a lot of networks anxious to get their details out there first but no information available to truly say anything That said Vodafone is already selling microSIMs with packages from 19 90 per month Though not sold exclusively as iPad packages it and the iPhone 4 are the only upcoming consumer devices that use them So these are iPad data packages in everything but name O2 is understood to have its stock of microSIMs ready to go too though it has not yet started to sell them to customers Related Posts Xbox Kinect launches in Ireland No Comments Nov 10 2010 Vodafone talking to IRMA about three strikes No Comments Jun 16 2010 New Mac Minis on the way No Comments Jun 4 2010 Review Apple TV 1 Comment Oct 18 2010 Add a Comment Cancel reply Your email address will not be published Required fields are marked Name Email Address Website Comment Popular Posts Recent Posts Opinion Will Google s Chrome OS be dead on arrival 26 11 2009 6 Comments IRMA loses in bid to force three strikes on UPC 11 10 2010 2 Comments Smart barcodes coming to Ireland from

we can t do with the current DS model he said The Nintendo 3DS for us is our next handheld platform Little is known about the upcoming 3DS at present other than the fact that it will display 3D images without the need for glasses and will be backwards compatible with regular DS games More information is expected at this year s E3 conference due to take place in mid June with a launch not expected until next year The Nintendo DS was a key factor in the revival of the company s fortunes with its arrival coming on the back of poor sales for its home console the Gamecube and competitive threats in the handheld space from Sony s PSP Since 2004 nearly 130m DS consoles have been sold giving the company nearly 70 of the handheld market This has been helped in no small part by the regular refreshing of the DS line with a number of tweaks being made over the past six years to make the device smaller and more feature rich Nintendo now faces a new type of threat however from high power smartphones like the iPhone Related Posts Sony launches new Cyber shot cameras No Comments Jan 27 2010 Apple publishes app guidelines calls time on fart apps No Comments Sep 9 2010 Irish stamps honour gaming icons No Comments Oct 16 2014 Vodafone to offer iPhones in 2010 as O2 exclusivity ends No Comments Oct 4 2009 Add a Comment Cancel reply Your email address will not be published Required fields are marked Name Email Address Website Comment Popular Posts Recent Posts Opinion Will Google s Chrome OS be dead on arrival 26 11 2009 6 Comments IRMA loses in bid to force three strikes on UPC 11 10 2010 2 Comments Smart

  • 7″ iPad rumours pick up pace | Teic.ie
deal about the 10 screen on the iPad being just right for practical portability and would have a hard time justifying something so much smaller but not so small as to make it a pocket device In other words take this one with a fist full of salt Even if the rumours are true a late 2010 release would be unlikely Apple are not known for releasing new product lines right before Christmas and supply issues would be a huge problem just as they have been with the 10 iPad An early 2011 release would make more sense it would come a year after the current iPad was first showcased by Apple and could happen alongside a 10 iPad upgrade fitting with the company s preference for annual line refreshes Related Posts Leak of alleged iPhone HD No Comments Apr 19 2010 Microsoft keyboard mouse giveaway No Comments Oct 12 2009 Internet Explorer usage drops below 50 No Comments Oct 5 2010 Competition Win Dragon Age Origins on the PS3 No Comments Nov 24 2009 Add a Comment Cancel reply Your email address will not be published Required fields are marked Name Email Address Website Comment Popular Posts Recent Posts
