    development in Japan and Australia She also has an M Sc in Organisational Behaviour from the University of London Languages English Japanese Christopher Rees Commercial Manager Chris joined Techworks Marine in the summer of 2015 as Commercial Manager to drive our sales and business development effort as we look to expand into new and existing markets Chris formerly a Key Account Manager at MeteoGroup in the UK has more than 10 years delivering and managing contracts with international energy and renewable energy companies Chris has managed long term multi disciplinary contracts with the UK s largest energy utilities and also won and managed contracts with international investment banks and hedge funds trading on the global energy and commodities markets Chris has a background in Meteorology with a Masters Degree from the University of Reading Languages English Dr Jenny Hanafin Earth Observation and Modelling Manager Jenny joined Techworks in 2014 as Senior Remote Sensing Scientist responsible for a team producing satellite earth observation data products and services for public and commercial users She has experience in many aspects of remote sensing from operating satellite sensors for EUMETSAT at Imperial College London to developing a system to retrieve atmospheric humidity from the Geological Survey of Ireland network of GPS receivers for use in the Met Éireann forecast model After receiving her B Sc in Marine Science at the National University of Ireland Galway she studied for a Ph D in Meteorology and Physical Oceanography at the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science University of Miami Since 1996 she has been involved in numerous international oceanographic and atmospheric field campaigns and research projects in the US and in Europe and has been awarded research grants as an independent researcher Languages English French Dr Nicolas Barré Remote Sensing Scientist Nicolas joined TechWorks Marine in 2014 as a remote sensing scientist He is currently the technical lead on a European Space Agency project employing satellite data to provide resource assessment information to the Marine Renewable industry Prior to joining TechWorks Marine Nicolas worked at LOCEAN French laboratory for oceanography and climate on a variety of methods of acquisition and processing oceanographic datasets The main subject of his thesis work was the exploration of satellite products combining qualitative and quantitative information on the oceanic frontal systems in the Southern Ocean altimetry sea surface temperature ocean color winds and sea ice Nicolas obtained his PhD from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie Paris LOCEAN Ph D Physical Oceanography He also holds an MSc from the Université Louis Pasteur Strasbourg and from the University College London Londres U K MSc in Spacecraft Technology and Satellite Communications His undergraduate degree is from Kingston University Kingston Upon Thames U K BSc in Physics with Electronics and Computing Languages English French Graham Cullen Oceanographic Engineer Graham joined Techworks Marine in September 2013 as our oceanographic engineer He qualified as a Mechanical Engineer in the Dublin Institute of Technology in 2009 and obtained his masters 1 1 in 2012 His master
