    there are plenty of opportunities to travel I recently made the trip to London to meet a client it was a brilliant experience that has really helped build my skills and my confidence As my career progresses I hope to travel much more and maybe even go on secondment My advice for new graduates would be to work hard at whatever you do Recent graduates have a wealth of knowledge to offer firms like PwC the only thing left to do is demonstrate a strong work ethic and a true enthusiasm to learn Technology whizz relationship builder and sailor Rob Director Consulting Before I joined PwC I knew about their strong Audit and Tax capability but didn t know much about the Advisory side of the business and knew even less about the Consulting team I wanted a career that would give me exposure to clients across a range of industries somewhere where I could apply technology to transform major organisations That s why I joined PwC Now I m team leader of the Technology Consulting team where we provide strategic technology services to our clients across all sectors In order to perform my role at the highest level I received in depth training including Industry recognised certifications in project management and IT Service Delivery as well as various internal courses What I enjoy most about my career with PwC is the diversity of projects and clients that I am exposed to and the value that I bring to my clients and their businesses But I can t do that on my own The great work we do is made possible by the friendly and helpful colleagues present at all levels at PwC It s rewarding to work in such a collaborative culture where the highest standards of quality are always strived for and consistently achieved I look forward to many more years in this stimulating environment helping my clients use technology to improve their businesses and adapt to new business challenges My advice to anyone interested in a career with PwC is to come with an open mind and take advantage of the opportunity to learn from impressive clients and colleagues Life long learner leader and mother of one Susan Partner Tax I wanted to work for a firm where I would get top class training excellent experience with the very best clients and access to markets all around the globe So joining PwC was an easy decision If I had any doubts the people I met as part of the interview process removed them They took a personal interest in me and I got a real sense that my contribution would be recognised and appreciated and I am glad to say that s exactly how it turned out I was given real responsibility right from the start and from day one worked directly with clients As for the variety of work I do it s fantastic From advising on large corporate re organisations to assisting film producer s
