    in Ireland This year there are 21 awards in total all chosen to reflect the ever increasing diversity of life in the public relations and communications arena Therefore if people are working for or on behalf of a multinational SME charity public body or anything in between there is a category suited to you Details of all categories the rules and the judging criteria are available from the link here There are a few important changes to note Firstly all entries this year are to be submitted online through this website Entries must be submitted online by noon March 8 2016 and you will be able to submit your entries online from February 15 onwards The main item of feedback from the judges this year is the importance of highlighting the objectives set for the campaign and therefore this is now a required field with your entry Secondly the existing award categories have been revised and updated while some new categories have been introduced as well The most obvious change is that we now have a new Best Sports PR category to reflect the growing importance of this sector The other major changes is that the Best Event category has been sub divided into two with now an award for Best Event and Best PR for an Event The other changes are more subtle so make sure to read in detail the entry brochure There was a huge response to the inaugural Young Communications Professional of the Year award last year There is amazing talent in the Irish communications profession and we are confident that the incredibly strong calibre of entrant demonstrated last year will be repeated again This Award is open to those aged 28 or under The Awards for Excellence is a beacon for the best practice in
