    sincere thanks to everyone who got involved Most importantly we wish to thank the 601 respondents to our national survey Living with a Neurological Condition in Ireland who shared their experiences with us Brain Awareness Week in brief 1 Over 50 events were organised nationwide by ten organisations and groups 2 Brain Awareness Week events including the launch of the NAI survey and public talks on brain awareness were covered in national newspapers The Irish Times and Irish Examiner 3 NAI s Brain Awareness Week events received coverage on RTE s Morning Edition programme Newstalk s George Hook show RTE radio s Sean O Rourke programme and The Late Debate on RTE radio 4 The launch of the NAI survey Living with a Neurological Condition received widespread attention with coverage in the Irish Times and Irish Examiner newspapers a number of questions raised in the Dail on the Thursday following the launch in relation to the findings of the survey the NAI survey and events for Brain Awareness Week featured in a number of medical publications committment from individual political representatives in relation to highlighting the survey findings NAI is currently following up on these 5 The NAI website received
