    Poison Plot by Francs Watts Reviewed by Jane Saville Age 10 Co Waterford Book Review So I only got this book 1 hour ago and I ve just lied down in my bed and this book made me feel like I was Tommy the sword girl in Flamant Castle So really this book was about this person called Sir Walter and he was holding a big feast called a banquet in the castle at the same time that Sir Malcom the meanie wants to take over Sir Walters land but Tommy over hears that there will be someone trying to poison Sir Walter so him and his army will give over the land Tommy tries to stop this from happening by using a cure from a cold Recommended Age Group 8 12 years Book Rating 5 Matilda by Roald Dahl Reviewed by Jane Saville Age 10 Co Waterford Book Review Matilda is a 7 year old girl that lives in a family that doesn t love her Her father Mr Wormwood is a car seller that is horribly selfish and mean and her mother Mrs Wormwood is completely thick They think Matilda is a nuisance because she reads too many books and they also think that no one should need books because w have tv s know days and why read a book when you can watch it on the Television Soon enough Matilda gets really angry because they won t let her read They are ripping up all of her books from the local library And they send her to this big horrible school with a horrid headmistress called Mrs Trunchbull that will get really mad since miss honey wants to move Matilda to a higher standard because she s too good to be in 1st grade So soon

    Book review I thought this book was spectacular the pictures were just phenomenal they were really out standing I think this book was charming I give it 10 10 and 5 gold stars Recommended Age Group 8 12 years Book Rating 5 DINO EGG by Charlie James Reviewed by Daniel Zamotsnyy Age 9 Book Review I loved the part when they found Lucky in the muesem There was a bully who was trying to get Lucky Lucky climbed on a fake big dinosaur The bully went in the muesem The bully said where is Lucky here he was said Lucky The bully thought it was Ned The bully grabbed Ned Beside the bully there was a fake enourmouse T rex Lucky said hey he attracted the bullys attention Suddenly the head of the T rex fell The Bully dashed out the main entrance Recommended Age Group 8 12 years Book Rating 5 The Story of Tracy Beaker by Jacqueline Wilson Reviewed by Katie Lynch Age 9 Book Review This book was a page turner I could not put it down I would recommend this book to kids at the age of eight to twelve I think that the book I have recommended will be amazing to any other nine year old as it is to me This book will blow any other child s mind as they read it Jacqueline Wilson is an amazing author I would recommend her books to any other child There are only a few illustrations in this book but they are very good As I read this book I enjoyed every bit of it I would give this book a hundred out of a hundred and a million golden stars That is how good this book was No matter how old this book gets l

    was dressed as a very brightly coloured butterfly I think this book is suitable for children between 7 9 years old It s absolutely brilliant Recommended Age Group 6 8 years The Little Stars by Jacqueline Wilson Reviewed by Marliatou Age 9 Dublin Book Review It was a great book with lots of words to help me with vocabulary It was thrilling and I couldn t stop reading it I was always wondering what was going to happen next this was a great book Recommended Age Group 12 years Book Rating 4 Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J K Rowling Reviewed by Cathal O Neill Age 9 Book Review I thought this book was absolutely amazing my favourite part was when he had a dual against Lord Voldmort It put me at the edge of my seat I also liked when he won the tournament but the overall story was adventurous and exciting and mysterious I don t know how J K Rowling did all of this but it is incredible and the movies are good too I m also liking the book that I am reading now harry potter and the order of the phionix but that is what i have to say about this book Recommended Age Group 12 years Book Rating 5 Grampas Great Escape by David Walliams Reviewed by Marliatou Age 9 Dublin Book Review Funny great book with lots of fun I recommend this book for all ages It is another great book by David Walliams and Dhal now has a worthy opponent The book has lots of funny moments and sad ones I think that the small ones would love this to be read to them as well by themselves Recommended Age Group 6 8 years Book Rating 5 Paddington the

    love a witch Story Theme It Could Happen Nothing is Impossible Author Natasha Ahearne It could happen It s not impossible Someone somewhere will make it happen It all started on a Saturday evening My friend and I had gone for lunch in Mahon and we were on the bus home She said to me imagine I could fly I just looked up at her She went on imagine I could fly and had wings I taught she was going crazy It would be I stopped her That s crazy it s impossible No one in the world can fly I told her It could happen It s not impossible Someone somewhere will make it happen She answered back Nothing is impossible she added I had nothing to say So I just ignored her After about 10 minutes she stood up I had no idea what she was doing As she started getting up on the top of the chair I knew I screamed at her GET DOWN NOW people will think you re crazy Everyone was looking No I will not get down I m doing this so I can fly It will not happen if I don t practise Everyone on the bus must have taught she was crazy My best friend a nut I wasn t having it So I got up and pushed her off After a while everyone lost interest I didn t I was watching her like a hawk I wouldn t leave her move I made it I finally got to the last stop without her trying to fly I made her go off first so she wouldn t do it while was off So she got as far as the door and then shouted It will happen nothings impossible Then she jumped off the bus and landed right on her face Story Theme It Could Happen World of Wonder Author Shauna Kennelly Once upon a time there was a land called Candy Land It was absolutely amazing it had any type of sweet you could imagine of There was a little girl called Sweetie Pie that lived here she loved all the sweets and playing with her friends But one day when she was outside with her friends Candy land became very dark the fluffy pink clouds were not pink anymore they became a dark black All the machines in Candy Land stopped working it was a disaster all of the candy stopped from being made all the workers didn t know what to do as this never happened before everyone was panicking But nobody new was Sweetie Pie was able to do she was the most intelligent girl in Candy Land she was great at fixing things so as the brave girl she is She went up too the President of Candy Land and told what she could do but he wasn t taking any it But she knew that if she could fix one machine then she could tech the others what to do So one night she crept out of her house there was no one too be seen but that was good for Sweetie Pie because she didn t want anyone too see her She went off too one of the Machines and brought her tools she went around trying to find anything that could be fixed or a loose wire It was morning and Sweetie Pie was still there she must of fell asleep or something there anyway it was great because despite how tired she was she fixed a machine So anyway off she went down home too Candy her best friend they got a box put the Gumball machine in the box and brought it back too Sweetie Pies house They were discussing what they were going too say too the President They thought of something and off they went too the Presidents house He was amazed what she was able too do as she was just a young girl He rewarded a cert and she was able too teach all the workers how too fix the machines she was Candy lands hero In the end everything worked out great and Candy Land was saved in the end Story Theme World of Wonder Cadburys Chocolate Factory Author Niamh o Sullivan It all started when I was watching x factor one Saturday night and my dad came in and handed me a golden envelope My hearth was thumping so fast I was so excited to see what was in the envelope my parents rushed into my bedroom when they heard me scream I am going to Cadburys chocolate factory tomorrow My parents were delighted for me as they had entered the competition on my behalf as they know how much I adore chocolate I had no idea about this competition I didn t sleep a wink that night as all I was thinking about was the rich chocolate fountain that would be soon flowing before my eyes We left the house at half past seven that morning and as we arrived at our destination I couldn t believe it as I saw enormous glistening gates standing tall on our arrival I leaped out of the car and waved back at my wonderful family I could see the jealousy on my little brothers face as they drove away I was amazed to see a giant statue of Willy Wonka made out of chocolate I waited at the reception but not for long as my tour guide arrived soon after He first explained how they made their chocolate and showed me all the different levels of the process It was really magical watching the melted chocolate being poured into the different sized moulds My mouth was watering as we moved onto the chocolate river I wished that day would never end The workers at the factory gave me lots of different samples of chocolate so much that I had a bit of a tummy ache afterwards but it
