  • Jean Butler | Irish World Academy of Music and Dance

  • ‘Of our Times’ Autumn Events Series commences September 18th | Irish World Academy of Music and Dance

  • Stepping Stones Scholarships at the Irish World Academy | Irish World Academy of Music and Dance

  • Triur Piano Trio at the Irish World Academy, Thursday October 4th, 1.15 pm | Irish World Academy of Music and Dance
    Ireland on the MA Classical String Performance programme at the University of Limerick They are experienced performers both as soloists and as members of various international ensembles This performance is the debut concert of this new ensemble at the Irish World Academy Bálint Váray has performed as solo violinist chamber artist and orchestral musician in Hungary Germany Austria Spain and Ireland He has played with many ensembles including the Franz Liszt Academy Symphony Orchestra Institute Geneva Young Munich Philharmonic Budapest Symphony and Academos Bálint studied at the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest and is currently a student of the MA Classical String Performance programme Péter Sebestyén was born to a Hungarian family of folk musicians and as a classical cellist he won several prizes at national competitions He completed his Masters with a First Class Honours at the Irish World Academy and was a recipient of the RTÉ lyric fm scholarship Since 2008 Péter has been a permanent member of Concerto Malaga chamber orchestra in Spain and he is currently working in Ireland as a cello teacher in Gort Athenry and Ennis Dávid Szabó is a pianist accompanist and piano teacher He graduated from the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest with the highest honours and was prize winner at several music competitions He has given numerous concerts as asoloist and chamber musician in Hungary and in Ireland Dávid is currently studying with Dr Yonit Kosovske and completing his master s programme at the Irish World Academy Filed Under Uncategorized Sorry comments are closed for this post Follow Us on Twitter 9 Feb Irish World Academy IWorldAcademy Getting ready for the launch today Exciting stuff RTERnaG UL IrishWorldAcademy pic twitter com gRHi4jTmH6 Expand reply retweet favorite 9 Feb Irish World Academy IWorldAcademy Come along to the launch of Ar Bhruach
