    or any Garda station Co Meath A woman in her 40 s died after the car she was driving was involved in a collision with a truck at Baymore Cross Laytown Co Meath on 6th February She was pronounced dead at the scene and her body was removed to Our Lady s Hospital Navan The driver of the truck did not require hospital treatment No one else was in the car Gardaí wish to appeal for witnesses to contact Ashbourne Garda station on 01 8010600 The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station Co Armagh A man in his 40s died following a one vehicle crash in County Armagh on 3rd February He was the driver of a van that was involved in a collision on the New Road at its junction with Legmoylan Road Co Galway A 66 year old man died after he was struck by a car on the N18 around 2km from the village of Ardrahan Co Galway in the early hours of 1st February The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene and his body taken to University Hospital Galway Two garda officers were also injured when their parked patrol vehicle was struck by the same car The garda officers were outside the car at the time They were taken to University Hospital Galway with injuries described as non life threatening A man in his 40 s was arrested at the scene and was taken to Gort Garda Station and has since been released It is understood the Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of the man Gardaí wish to appeal for witnesses to contact Gort Garda Station on 091 636400 The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station 2016 figures According
