    as Editor of the Farmers Journal Matt is President of the RDS and a past Chair of the Agricultural Institute and ACOT He will give a talk on the impact of impending changes in the agribusiness sector on the Irish economy and the consultancy opportunities that may arise Matt is a foremost authority on national and international agricultural policy and industry trends and his assessment of Government and EU policy is highly valued by the agri food sector With the reform of the CAP and the current and expected growth in the Irish Food and Agribusiness sector he is ideally qualified to profile the sector and to identify the skills required of consultants and the agribusiness sector generally over the next 10 years to enhance this Matt runs an intensive tillage and beef farm in Co Kildare and holds degrees in Agriculture and Agricultural Economics from UCD He is Chairman of National Newspapers of Ireland of the Irish National Stud and of IdentiGEN a leading provider of DNA based solutions to the agri food industry Both events are for members only and will be held in the upstairs bistro at Donnybrook Fair If you plan to go to the AGM why not stay for the reception and dinner or just come to the reception dinner if you cannot make the AGM The AGM is free and will commence at 6 30 pm The dinner costs 35 per head including wine and will run from 7 30 pm to 9 30 pm or so depending on the length of the discussion Please register for the dinner below We recommend that you do so early to make sure of a place If planning to attend the AGM only please notify us of this by email Register for this event Attendees can register
