    and Quality Standards Resources Training Education Policy Conferences Contact Us About About IASE What is SE Vacancies Meet the team Join IASE Membership Renewal Sponsorship Donation IASE Projects Toolkit for Diversity Next Step Working A Way Trail Blazers Governance Company Profile Directors Patrons Annual Accounts Strategic Plans Complaints Procedures Contact Us News News updates Events Blog Gallery Newsletter EUSE President recognised in the Queens in the Honours list Home News Events EUSE President recognised in the Queens in the Honours list June 11 2015 By IASE Admin No comments yet Events News August 6 2014 EUSE President Margaret Haddock and Chairperson of Northern Ireland Union of Supported Employment was recognised in the summer honours list Order of the British Empire MBE for her services to people with disabilities in Northern Ireland The MBE member of the Order of the British Empire is awarded for a significant achievement or outstanding service to the community It is also awarded for local hands on service which stands out as an example to other people Margaret is Deputy Chief Executive of The Orchardville Society a Belfast based disability service promoting specialist employment support and social enterprise The Orchardville Society provide support over 250 people with a learning disability into employment annually Margaret in her role as EUSE president has worked closely with the IASE on a number of projects progressing the supported employment agenda including the development of the supported employment toolkit for disadvantaged groups in Europe which was launched in Dublin last year Margaret was involved in the planning of the European Union of Supported Employment conference in Croke Park Dublin in June 2013 and is EUSE council member for over a decade The IASE team and national executive would like to congratulate Margaret on her award and wish her every success in
