    Prix winner in each year group Year groups Mega Spiders Primary school up to year 7 in Northern Ireland Giga Spiders 1st 3rd year students year 8 9 10 11 in Northern Ireland Tera Spiders 4th 6th year students year 12 13 14 in Northern Ireland Individual and groups Students may enter as an individual or as a group of up to 3 Students entering in groups must be from the same school and year group If students are shortlisted for a category they are invited to attend the awards with up to 2 other students and up to 2 teachers In the case that a school or class have all taken part in creating the website then up to 3 students and 2 teachers may represent the group if shortlisted Only shortlisted entrants will attend the awards ceremony and lunch All entrants are invited to attend the exhibition What to enter All entries must be made online A fully functioning website and completed entry form needs to be submitted for each entry All entries are in English except for the Best Irish Website category The student entering must complete the majority of the project Help is allowed but the entrant must understand all the work that is being done All work entered must belong to the entrant Copyright infringements will be taken very seriously Further rules If a student enters a website into an unsuitable category the judges will have the right to move it to its appropriate category All sites entering the award must display the Junior Spiders logo on their home page The image and text will be supplied to each entrant upon confirmation of receipt of their entry Teacher s names must be included on the entry form in order to be the point of contact

    web industry at the awards and it will be great to put on your CV How do I enter Choose which category you wish to enter then fill out the online entry form All entries need to have your teacher principals contact name and number or the entry will not qualify You will receive a confirmation email with a junior spiders badge to post on your website Please put this on your homepage Do not post in your entry all entries are sent in online Is there a cost to enter No it is free to enter the awards What are the categories for the awards Please see the categories page for full descriptions and criteria All of the categories in the Mega Spiders can enter in either English or Irish Can I enter in multiple categories No a website may only be entered into one category However if the judges feel that your entry would fit more appropriately into another category they may decide to move it as to give you the best chance of winning Is there a limit to the number of categories a school can enter No there is no limit a school can enter as many categories as they wish School s can also enter any given category as many times as they like How do I nominate a project between two schools Unfortunately you cannot nominate a project between two schools Each entry must be from one school and one age group When is the opening closing date for entries The 2015 awards will announce when opening for entries are at the start of the autumn term The closing date will also be announced at this time How does the judging process work There is a panel of judges that will assess each entry
