    classes available in DCFE Can I enrol in a Fetac Level 6 course When will I be notified of my interview time and date Usually no later than four weeks after you submit your application An email with a time and date will be sent to applicants a week prior to interviews Back to top How soon will I know after my interview that I have been offered a place Usually no later than four weeks after your interview Depending on demand you may be contacted sooner An letter of offer will be emailed and payment requested once full payment is received your place on your chosen course is secured Back to top Can I receive a refund if I decide not to pursue my course All students can claim a refund anytime up to the 23 rd September 2015 This can be requested by emailing the Administration office A 30 administration fee will be deducted from your payment Please Note Refunds cannot be claimed after this date Back to top Am I exempt from paying the full fee if I am a medical card holder 200 of the course fee is a government levy and is refundable for full medical card holders and those on grants or BTEA The remainder of the fee is payable Back to top Are there other extra fees due later in the year during my course exam fees etc No there are no other fees due to be paid throughout the academic year Exam fees are included in all course fees and if you are enrolled in Nursing Healthcare the cost of a Manual Handling Course is also included in your course fee Back to top Can I apply for a SUSI grant Yes you can apply for SUSI grant through http www susi ie If you are approved by SUSI you must have at least 80 attendance throughout the academic year to continue to receive your monthly payment from SUSI Back to top Do I have to attend regularly to be approved for my SUSI grant You must have at least 80 attendance in a given calendar month to be approved for your grant Your grant arrangement is between you the student and SUSI but DCFE must monitor your attendance and if there are unexplained absences in a given month your grant will not be approved for that month It is the student s responsibility to explain any absences and provide medical certs so that these may be taken into account when approving grants Back to top I cannot remember my User ID number or Password where can I find this ID number is displayed on your acknowledgement letter that is sent by email immediately after you submit your application online Or you can email the Administration office who will email you back with your ID number Your PPS number is your password Back to top Transport to and from the college Where no bus service operates there is private bus set up
